AUDITION NOTICE: TITANIC the MUSICAL

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, Central Florida Community Arts will hold open call auditions for key characters and lead roles for their upcoming concert version of the Broadway musical, Titanic – The Musical, scheduled to perform at Northland Church, a 3,100 seat, state-of-the art venue, on September 7.

The auditions will be held on Monday, May 14, and Tuesday, May 15, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1655 Peel Avenue, Orlando, 32806, at 7pm. No sign-ups required; walk-ins only. They will be looking for all types, male and females, age 18+. It will be a standard audition – please bring a head shot and resume and be prepared to sing 16 bars of the music of your choice. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. Rehearsal dates and location for these leads roles will be announced at callbacks.

The legendary sinking of the RMS Titanic in the early morning hours of April 15, 1912, is unquestionably the most tragic maritime disaster of the 20th century. Follow the stories of the passengers and crew of the supposedly “unsinkable” ship, in this hauntingly moving story set to song. Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book, Titanic – The Musical is sure to be an unforgettable and thrilling theatrical voyage.

This concert version of Titanic – The Musical will also include a choir – there are no auditions required to join the choir.  Rehearsals for the choir will be on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1655 Peel Avenue, Orlando, 32806, effective June 5th.

Titanic – The Musical, will be directed by Joshua Vickery, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Central Florida Community Arts.
