In hundreds of short stories and some groundbreaking novels, he left us more of his imagination than most writers could hope to achieve in half a lifetime. Rest easy, Ray Bradbury. The crazy, kindly uncle of sci-fi still had plenty in him if his recent essay from the New Yorker is any indication. Tear-jerker alert before you read it, but read it you should.
