St. Patrick’s Day may be the amateur’s occasion of choice for toasting the Emerald Isle, but this entire week ranks right up there for bookworms. Raise a pint for that fine Irish poet W.B. Yeats, whose birthday is today (June 13). Then shake it off and restock on Jameson in honor of James Joyce for Bloomsday (June 16). Have I mentioned that John King is hosting a Bloomsday celebration at Urban ReThink this Saturday from 6-9 p.m.? Well, now’s as good a time as any to mention it again.
